Testimonials

iana = I Am Not Alone

The respite support made a huge difference for us. My mom’s symptoms had gotten worse, and she was refusing help from me. I was overwhelmed … But having an aide come in twice a week brought real relief. The aide handled everything calmly and professionally. I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through that period without their help. I was really struggling to keep her clean and safe in the home

Thank you very much for all of the great information! I appreciate your help and support. You and the whole program are wonderful.

ianacare has truly made me feel like I’m not alone. The small things I’ve learned from the webinars have made a huge impact. Allison taught me about “micro-moments” — the little things in the day-to-day routine that make me feel happy.

I recently started using ianacare and just the 1 call has helped me see that a plan can be made and it is very comforting!

It didn't make me feel like a burden for asking them for that help at all, thanks to this app. It was amazing to me how my mom had friends who wanted to help, but didn't know how to ask. And so by simply downloading an app, they were able to offer meals, and offer to come and sit. My coworkers at work were bringing meals every night.

Thank you for all the webinars and resources you offer.  We have been using the ianacare app now for about 6-8 months. And I do feel it has greatly helped to keep us all aligned on what is going on with her. It’s so nice to have that communication line separate from the crazy text chains/group chats.

The GUIDE program through Care Dimensions made it possible for me to keep a long-planned vacation after my mom fell. It had been years since we took some time away as a family, and we were really burnt out. I was very nervous about leaving, but meeting the respite caregiver ahead of time gave me real peace of mind. The care was excellent … I came back to a great report and a mom who felt safe and supported

The caregiver has been wonderful with my sister’s dementia symptoms, especially on hard days or struggles with her routine. On good days, the respite caregiver is a great companion that our sister enjoys a lot. This support has made a meaningful difference for our family.

The monthly check-ins have been very helpful for me as I care for my wife. I attend support groups and try to stay active in the community, but these calls give me strategies I can use right away. I always learn something new that helps me understand what to expect and how to support my wife better. This is the kind of support you need, because you don’t know what you don’t know.
